It was a shock to many when Davido, one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, announced he had fathered a child with his then-girlfriend, Sophia Momodu. The news of their child, Imade Adeleke, was met with both celebration and shock. Since then, the couple have had their fair share of ups and downs, but have managed to remain devoted to their daughter.
The two were soon spotted together at various events and social gatherings. They were said to have had a brief relationship; however, it was never confirmed by either party. In 2015, however, it was announced that Davido had fathered a child with Sophia and the news of Imade Adeleke was met with both celebration and shock.
Sophia and Davido have had their fair share of ups and downs since the news of their child. Sophia Momodu hinted that Davido was angry because she finally moved on with her life. According to a post she shared, the singer allegedly stopped taking care of his first daughter, Imade, after Sophia got totally done with him and moved on with her life.
She confirmed this to a friend who spoke about her beef with the singer during a question and answer session.
“It has always been because of you now that you have finally moved on he wants to be done with his child. Too grumpy asf. Fear men”, the lady wrote.
Sophia Momodu confirmed this and replied; “Like I said educated, intelligent Nigerians still exist.”
