Portugal is lit up for what is currently tagged ‘The World's Biggest Afrobeats Festival'; Afronation. The first day of the festival has seen performances from big names in afrobeats and we have the details of those performances for you.
The festival has garnered crowds globally and It will take place on Portugal's stunning Praia da Rocha beach, just south of Portimo, for three days from July 1 to July 3, 2022.
Every year, Afro Nation brings together the top performers in the genres of Afrobeats, Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Amapiano, Afro House, and more. This year, performances are anticipated from artists like Chris Brown, Burna Boy, Wizkid, megan thee stallion, p-square, Beenie Man, diamond platnumz, rema, and a host of others.
Day 1 of the concert, which was headlined by davido and included an appearance by P-Square, also had outstanding performances by a number of Afrobeats artists, including Rema, Ckay, ruger, Omah Lay, and many others.
