Produced by Pop Wansel and Rogét Chahayed, the nostalgic track features a head-bopping beat that borrows from Soul II Soul’s 1989 single “Back to Life.”
“Thoughts of you keep me up at night,” sings Kehlani before Bieber chimes in, “I think about all of the ways you turn me on / And my bed gets lonely whenever you’re gone.”
“up at night” is the latest release from Kehlani’s upcoming third studio album, blue water road.
“It’s about having a healthily obsessed relationship. You’re telling someone, ‘I love you so much it keeps me awake at night.’ I love what Justin did, and it’s such a fun one to dance to,” said Kehlani, who previously collaborated with Bieber on 2020’s “Changes.”
