Dr. Dre Announces New Album ‘Casablanco’ With Marsha Ambrosius

has new music on the way.

The rap icon has announced his first project in over six years, a collaborative album with Marsha Ambrosius called Casablanco.

He shared the news with his 6 million Instagram followers, posting a selfie from the studio with an orchestra behind him.

“I just finished recording an album with Marsha Ambrosius. ‘Casablanco’ I had a blast!!” wrote. “This is some of my best work!!”

The former Floetry songstress echoed the sentiment, adding, “I just finished recording an album with Dr. Dre ‘Casablanco’ I had an amazing time!! This is some of my best work!!!”

Casablanco marks ’s first body of work since 2015’s Compton, inspired by the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton. He and Marsha previously worked together on songs for the album.

In addition to Casablanco, has contributed new music to Grand Theft Auto Online: The Contract, including a collaboration with Eminem, which arrives Dec. 15.
